Crafting Tradition: Bespoke Window Seat

Our client approached us with the vision of creating a bespoke window seat that would enhance a beautiful feature window while providing both practical storage and a cosy place to sit.

The brief was to design a piece that matched the character of the property. We crafted a built-in window seat with classic panelled detailing, carefully shaped to fit the architectural lines of the room and sit neatly between the existing oak beams.

The cabinetry was finished in a soft, neutral tone to complement the surrounding interiors, and we incorporated discreet drawer storage beneath the seat for added functionality. The upholstered top, supplied and fitted by a local specialist upholstery company, adds comfort and a subtle pop of colour while maintaining the traditional feel of the space.
