Wardrobe Extension & Shoe Unit in Speen
Speen, Buckinghamshire
Our loyal client in Speen approached us to optimise the wall-to-wall fitted wardrobes they had inherited in their dressing room. They needed more space for their clothes and beloved shoe collection.
Working closely with our client, we developed a design tailored to their needs. The final plan involved modifying the far-right wardrobe to extend around the corner onto the adjacent wall, creating an additional double wardrobe. Beside the new wardrobe, we designed an open floor-to-ceiling shoe unit with ample shelves for displaying shoes and boots.
For the interiors, we reconfigured the central wardrobe for double hanging space and converted the far-right wardrobe into longer hanging space by removing the existing shelves. The hidden corner is ideal for storing out-of-season clothing. The new double wardrobe includes internal drawers and additional shelving, which the previous setup lacked.
To completely revamp the look, our client selected new gold handles from Plank and chose to paint all the wardrobes in Farrow & Ball’s Setting Plaster. We meticulously designed the new doors to match the existing ones, taking precise measurements to ensure a seamless look.
